大連位于遼東半島的南端，地處黃渤海交界處，與山東隔海相望。是中國重要的沿海商貿(mào)城市，素有“浪漫之都”的稱號(hào)。大連是最沒有典型東北特征的城市。冬天沒有零下30度的嚴(yán)寒，飲食風(fēng)格與本地人口音更偏山東，再加上綿延不斷的海岸線讓這里更像是一座南方的濱海都市。
